AFPA AGM & Industry Showcase

Have you ever wondered what it would take to get your products onto the shelves of Costco Wholesale Canada? Join us Friday, June 14 at the Renaissance Hotel Edmonton Airport for AFPA’s 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM), where special guest, Derek Mantha, General Merchandising Manager, Costco Wholesale Canada Ltd., will share insights into merchandising and vendor development, and the six questions Costco asks all suppliers.

In honor of AFPA’s 50th Anniversary, this event is available at a special price of $50 for AFPA Members! Registration includes a special Made in Alberta lunch and keynote presentation.

For just $150 (includes 2 AGM registrations) AFPA members can book an 8 ft table to showcase their products and serve up samples. Those providing samples will be required to complete and submit an outside vendor form which will be provided upon registration. Alberta Food & Beverage Awards

The Alberta Food and Beverage Awards are our industry’s premier awards recognizing the best food and beverage products in our province. Made in Alberta is a program supported and funded by the Government of Alberta, recognizing the unique flavors and products produced and sold right here in our province.

Products are judged on four criteria: Quality, Taste & Appearance, Packaging & Overall Appeal, and Unique Selling Features – by an impartial panel of industry experts and scores authenticated by MNP, and winners will be announced at a special Gala, June 14 at the Renaissance Hotel, Edmonton.
